Jasmine Simmons
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Jasmine Simmons is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with more than 5 years of experience in the Human Service Field. She practices in the state of Maryland and provides therapy to teenagers and adults. She specializes in Anxiety, Trauma, Perinatal, and Infertility.
Jasmine has a strong passion for working with clients that are struggling with their fertility journey and trauma as a result of infertility or miscarriage. Also, Jasmine has experience working with clients who are going through the challenges of motherhood and are having a difficult time finding a balance with other life responsibilities. Additionally, Jasmine sees clients who have mood disorders, dealing with stress, low self esteem or life transitions. Jasmine works with her clients on understanding how to process their emotions and explore coping mechanisms to reach their fullest potential.
Thus far, she has a post master’s degree in addiction and has gained experience working with clients struggling with substance abuse, and had run a dual diagnosis group, recovery group, and intensive outpatient group.
Jasmine’s therapeutic approach stems from somatic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy and trained in EMDR. Jasmine has taken extensive training in anxiety, reproductive health/perinatal mental health and certified IN DBT. She engages her clients by asking meaningful questions to guide the client in understanding their thought patterns.
In addition, she incorporates mindfulness-based body-centered interventions to help her clients recognize the connection between their minds and bodies. When clients are dealing with trauma identifying triggers, understanding how the body and the mind connect in order to reach the point of healing is important for Jasmine to work with clients on.
In her spare time, Jasmine loves to spend time with her family especially her husband, son, and dog. Jasmine values learning about different cultures and was raised in an African household. She also lived in Nigeria when she was a child. Jasmine loves to travel the world and has been to several countries. Jasmine loves to cook, journal, and enjoys exploring nature.

Ashley Styles is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland with over 5 years of experience in the Human Service Field. Prior to receiving her LGPC, she worked as a Case Manager serving over 60 adult clients with intellectual disabilities. She ensured that each client had the proper environment and support to follow their treatment plans to meet their goals. As a mental health therapist, Ashley provides therapy to young ladies and women ranging from ages 16 - 50. She specializes in Anxiety, life events, stress, and woman issues.
Ashley desires to work with clients that are struggling with finding direction in life. Those who are stuck in the monotony of day-to-day life tasks and routine without solace, a safe place to manage and set goals that will succeed. Ashley works with her clients to process and understand what is happening through emotions, art, and literature. As a result, the client will discover and learn practical ways to navigate using strategies and coping mechanisms.
Ashley’s therapeutic approach incorporates Somatic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She engages her clients by asking probing questions about the past, present and future thereafter offering different perspectives.
In her spare time, Ashley loves to spend time with her family and her pup. She enjoys long walks and traveling. Walking is a very grounding that allows the space, time and opportunity for Ashley to reflect. Through traveling Ashley has learned so much about different cultures, geographical areas, and food. Adeola Daniyan is a licensed Graduate professional Counselor in the state of Maryland with over 5 years of experience in the Human Services field. Prior to receiving her LGPC, she worked as an Admissions Counselor in higher education providing individuals with tools and support to guide their career journey, and establish work life balance.
Adeola desires to work with clients that are struggling in relationships, whether romantic or platonic. She believes that life is not meant to occur in isolation, and is rooted in healthy interpersonal relationships with others. She is passionate about helping each client develop a deeper sense of self. Adeola provides therapy to women and men ranging from age 18-50. She specializes in peer relationships, self esteem, trauma, women’s issues and stress.
Adeola’s therapeutic approach stems from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. She explores the client’s thought patterns and behaviors from various life situations to help the client reach a better level of understanding. She incorporates mindfulness practices to keep the client grounded in the present moment and gradually let go of previous traumas.
In her spare time, Adeola loves to spend quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling to experience other cultures and adventures, and is extremely passionate about self care and body care. She makes her own all natural body care products and uses them to remind others to love the skin they're in.

U’nek A. Clarke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She has over 10 years experience as a therapist for young children and adults. U’nek’s speciality is perinatal mental health including loss. She’s received certifications in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Perinatal, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. She has spoken at conferences and conducted trainings on Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) in the United States and Europe.
Life experiences have lead U’nek to her passion of working with women and birthing people who are pregnant and postpartum. She has enormous compassion for people going through the challenges and transitions around motherhood, and feels privileged to work with those who are seeking support during this phase.
U’nek’s therapeutic approach is grounded in reflective explorations. Her training in psychoanalytic practices, interpersonal psychotherapy,
attachment and interpersonal psychotherapy allows for an eclectic approach to therapy. She believes therapy can been a meaningful, fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
She prides herself in creating a non-judgmental safe space for patients. U’nek believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship as the catalyst for change and setting attainable goals.
In her spare time, U’nek loves spending time with her family and friends. She’s a wife and mother to three children including a set of twins. Patrice empowers her clients using a holistic approach to assist them in discovering their best selves, helping clients unlock their strengths, resilience, and motivation to promote growth. She is passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures. Patrice currently works with adults 18 and over who have experienced stress, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. She also enjoys working with highly sensitive people and helping them discover their strengths.
Patrice believes in meeting clients where they are to increase their overall well-being. Collaborating with her clients is important, so she has an eclectic approach to counseling. She has used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and a host of other modalities to help her clients best, all while remaining culturally sensitive. Christa Sonnier is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland. She has over 20 years of experience working with women and families as a birth and postpartum doula and is certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. Additionally, Christa has almost a decade of experience as a yoga studio owner, which has allowed her to cultivate a deep understanding of holistic well-being. Many come to therapy during threshold times, those moments during major life transitions that may be filled with grief, fear, or anxiety. Christa utilizes therapy sessions to meet clients at this doorway and offer support, solace, and guidance as they travel from one phase of life to another. She believes these times can lead to new ways of understanding yourself and your relationships.
Christa is committed to providing compassionate care to those working through grief and trauma. She specializes in providing pregnancy and postpartum mental health care, which includes those who have experienced birth trauma, reproductive loss, or who are having difficulty navigating the adjustment to parenthood. She also works with those moving through other life transitions including divorce, loss of a loved one, job changes, empty nesting, menopause, chronic illness, and cancer. Ebonee Davis is a licensed therapist committed to helping clients learn how to rebuild and sustain a healthier lifestyle. Her work focuses on Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy. She believes in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their personal goals.
Ebonee has extensive experience working with a variety of mental health conditions, such as Depression, Anxiety and PTSD in age groups from 12-70 years old. She welcomes all genders and cultural backgrounds as clients which allows her to better serve a larger clientele. In her past, Ebonee has been extremely grateful to work with multiple treatment centers for inpatient and outpatient services, along with her experience at Sheppard Pratt in PHP working with adolescents.
As a therapist, Ebonee takes a client-centered approach to therapy. What does this mean? As your therapist, she will not pass judgement on your feelings or offer solutions to ‘fix’ problems you may discuss. Instead, she becomes a partner in the therapy process because she believes you are the expert of your own life.
In her spare time, Ebonee likes making memories with her children and husband. She has a dog and a cat who she also shares her time and love with. Ebonee likes to read books, participate in group workout classes, and travel around the world!

Jennifer Graham
Jennifer Graham received a B.S in Psychology from Towson University. She has 7 years of experience as an office manager. At EviJoy Counseling Center, Jennifer verifies all clients’ insurance benefits, communicates any changes for each individual client’s insurance benefits, and follows up with insurance companies on any pending claims. Also, Jennifer ensures billing accuracy by monitoring every payment and balance through our billing system. Jennifer also will be responsible for calculating copay and insurance amount to report to therapists and for audit purposes for payroll. Jennifer is here to help with all the insurance verification and billing needs at EviJoy Counseling Center, LLC.
During her spare time, Jennifer loves to crotchet, play video games, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

Haley Robertson
Haley Robertson received an Associate Degree in Allied Health Sciences. She has more than 3 years of experience in health care and charting. Haley will be the clients point of contact and will be working to connect potential clients to the appropriate providers. Haley also ensures all client information is up to date and works on scheduling appointments. Haley will also be responsible for some of the administrative needs. Haley is here and happy to help all the clients and counselors here at EviJoy counseling center LLC. During her spare time Haley likes to play video games, go walking, spend time with her kids, and obsess over her cats.
